Products A) PREMIUM: All feed under this category are pelletised, so can be fed straight away to the animals. The following are premium feeds: 1. Layer Mash Premium:- fed to laying birds and with a high protein content compared to the grade one and concentrate. 2. Pig Starter:- This is a healthy feed for piglets. 3. Pig Grower:- Fed to growing pigs to enhance healthy growth. 4. Pig Finisher:- Fed to the pigs to prepare them for the market/slaughter. 5. All Purpose Pig Feed:- Fed to pigs of all stages. It serves as a combination of all the three pig feeds. 6. Horse Feed:- High quality horse feed, fed to horses to make them look strong and healthy. Peletised feed is very palatable.It brings higher yield and there is better utilization of feed due to improved intake. It is free of micro-organisms thus, there is lower mortality rate of animals and less is spent on verterinary drugs.The animals are not able to select prefered ingredients. There is less wastage of feed, therefore the feed lasts longer. B)
GRADE ONE:
All feeds under this category are crumbled mash feed. It is fed
staight away to the animals without mixing with anything. The following
are grade one feeds: 2) Grower Mash:- Fed to pullets from the eight week of brooding. This feed gives them the required weight of 1660 grams. 3) Layer Mash:- This is fed to layers to ensure hard eggs shells and yellow egg yolks. 4) Broiler Starter:- This feed should be given from day old to week four (4) or (5) five of the bird's life. It gives the birds the required weight for consumption. 5) Broiler Finisher:- Broiler finisher is from week four (4) or five (5), until the birds are sold. It gives a lot of energy and enables the birds to reach an live weight of about 2.2kg , before they are sent to the market. C) CONCENTRATES: This kind of feed is also in a mash form. The nutrients in these feeds are highly concentrated. The farmer therefore needs to mix 50% of concentrate with an equal weight of maize before feeding it to the birds. Proper mixing procedures will see the farmer yielding good results. There

Gafco animal feed is made up of PREMIUM, GRADE ONE and CONCENTRATES.
Premium and Grade one feeds are packaged in 45kg bags and the concentrates
are packaged in 50kg bags.
